Pictures must be framed or mounted with wire, secure for hanging.  Maximum size, including frame, shall not exceed 47” x 36”.  No wet pictures will be accepted.  Work more than two years old, or if it has been shown in the Cochise County Fair before, is not acceptable.  Nude art submitted shall be severely jured.  Exhibitors are only allowed one entry in each Lot, but may enter as many Lots as they choose.  Youth entries are welcome.

 

POPULAR AWARD:  A Rosette ribbon will be given to the Adult Art work receiving the most popular votes during the Fair.  Popular votes cast by viewers will cease at 2 p.m. Sunday, after which the winner will be announced.

Exhibits will be received Wednesday, September 27, from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. and Thursday, September 28, from 7 until 9 a.m., at which time judging will begin.

Exhibits will be received during the same hours as listed under DEPARTMENT L - FINE ARTS.  Only one entry may be made by an exhibitor in each Lot.  Two or more related objects comprising a set will be classed as one entry.  Work previously shown at the Cochise County Fair cannot be accepted.

An entry in Youth Art may be made using any Class and Lot listed on the preceding pages for the Adult Divisions, but each person must be sure to select and write on their entry form and on all exhibitor’s tags either Division E, F or G.

If you do not make this distinction, your entry will not be judged.

A Best of Show ribbon may be given for outstanding work in Youth Art.
