Fairgrounds are located at 3677 Leslie Canyon Road, approximately
one mile north of Douglas. I.
Exhibit Entry Requirements A.
No entry fees are charged for exhibits except for those entered
in Department K - Poultry, Pigeons and Rabbits, for which fees are
listed in that department section of the Premium Book. B.
An entry form for all departments except for 4-H is in the
center of the Premium Book and additional forms are available at the
Fairgrounds beginning September 1.
Entry forms for 4-H may be obtained from the Cochise County
Extension Office in Willcox. C.
Exhibitors for all departments except for Photography and for
Poultry, Pigeons and Rabbits must obtain an entry number from
the Secretary of Exhibits Office in the Agriculture Building prior to
submitting the entry form and exhibit to the Department
Superintendent. D.
The times for entering exhibits are listed in a chart at the
beginning of the Premium Book and under the specific department
sections in the Premium Book. Any
exhibit not submitted prior to the deadline may be accepted for
exhibit only, provided the Superintendent determines there is
sufficient space; however, such exhibits will not be judged. E. Except in the Photography and in the Poultry, Pigeons and Rabbits Departments, no one may submit more than one entry in each lot, although an individual may compete in as many lots as desired. No exhibit from the previous year's Fair may be submitted unless there has been a significant subsequent modification or addition to the exhibit. Each entry must have been raised, produced or created as an exhibit by the exhibitor. Except for Fine Arts, Hobbies, Minerals and Poultry, Pigeons and Rabbits, exhibit entries must have been raised, produced or created in Cochise County and completed within 12 months prior to the opening date of the Fair. Upon request of the Department Superintendent, an exhibitor may be required to certify compliance with these rules as a condition of entry. A SUPERINTENDENT, WHO, FOR ANY REASON, DEEMS AN ENTRY UNSATISFACTORY, MAY REFUSE TO ACCEPT IT. G.
While the Fair Association tries to take reasonable care of
exhibits, the Fair is not responsible for breakage, loss or damage, and
each exhibitor assumes the risk of possible breakage, loss or damage as
a condition of exhibiting an item.
II.

Scheduled times for judging for each department are noted in that
department's section of the Premium Book. B.

and will be used as evidence for payment of premiums; ribbons or tags
cannot be used to establish a right to premium payment. C.
